It's a very strong fixed blade knife, its blade is made of the most recently N690 stainless steel. Its handle is fixed to the blade by two screws that can be easily taken apart and reassembled using a 10-cents coin. 986 hunting knife is made of 1 blade, 2 liners of hardwood and 2 screws.
