Carbon is Opinel's original steel. The N°08 Forge features a forged carbon steel blank blade that ensures excellent cutting quality. The blade is ground only in the lower part, thus giving a hammered appearance to the upper part which gives even more character to this pocket knife.
The oiled ebony handle is carved with irregular facets.
This folding knife is unique and made in France.
Limited edition of 6000 copies.
The blade is certified for contact with food. However, this is a high carbon steel blade ( not styainless ) that should not be used with acidic foods.
