The Vulcan Multi-hone stone is comprised of alternating slabs of two Natural Arkansas Stones. .
This configuration allows for simultaneous honing and polishing of a knife edge. Sections of the Vulcan multi-hone stone are arranged to allow each pass across the stones' surface to move from fine to coarse to fine again
Comprised of finely lapped layers of Soft White and Dunston Black Natural Arkansas Stone. The Vulcan multi-hone is gentle yet effective for all types of knife edges. Excellent for VG-10 stainless steel. Dimensions: 152.4x50.8x19.05 mm. With equal hardness, the color of the stone can be very different from that represented in the image.
Each Vulcan multi-hone stone is beautifully hand-cut, formed and lapped. 100% natural and quarried in Arkansas, USA, it will sharpen as well as polish and edge with every stroke. Remove less metal than other sharpening stones. Vulcan multi-hone stones are superior for all straight edge knives and also harder technical steel blades use in high end cutlery.
