Nicolai Lilin, a Russian writer of Siberian origin, designed Reactor in memory of the operation of the Russian navy special forces in 2010, near the coast of Somalia, when in 22 minutes two operational corps of the marines rescued from the pirates a kidnapped merchantile ship that was carrying oil. On that occasion the militaries could not use firearms to prevent the ship from exploding, so they only used knives. They caught 30 terrorists in 22 minutes. It was a unique operation in the history of international special departments. Reactor is dedicated to all special forces that use white weapons.
