Opinel Savoie France n° 08 Platane - Folding knife - Blade made of Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel, double polish for a mirror-finish effect, 8 cm. The wood has an unusual grain that gives the varnished handle a unique feel. Virobloc safety ring. Packaging: blue cardboard box. The handle can have shades and natural streaks different from that reproduced on the image.
Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all folding knives from the N° 06. Cut out of stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding, for locking the blade open (safety in use), and the blade closed (safety in transport).
