This Opinel 08 folding knife features a handle made from béli wood (also known as Agoura or Zebrali) from central Africa demarcated with brown and yellowish veins.
Opinel Savoie n° 08 Béli Folding knife Made in France. Limited Edition 3500 pcs. Blade made of Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel for optimal corrosion resistance, mirror finish, 8 cm. Béli wood handle. The Virobloc dual safety system allows the blade to be locked in an open or closed position. Packaging: blue cardboard box with a black suedette pouch. The handle can have shades and natural streaks different from that reproduced on the image.
The Opinel was born on the banks of a stream overlooked by the Savoie mountains. Invented in 1890 by Joseph Opinel, its simplicity, robustness and functionality make it a noble tool.
