The knife No. 08 Ellipse has been imagined in Opinel's cabinetmaking workshop. iI is characterized by a noble alloy of ebony and aluminum. Blade length 8.5 cm. Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel. Virobloc safety ring. Box in oak and black velvet case. This handle is oiled; to revive the intensity of the wood, it is advisable to feed it with a clean cloth lightly moistened with cooking oil.
Ebony is a rare and luxurious wood coming from the forests of Africa. Thanks to its beautiful density and deep black color, ebony is traditionally used in marquetry.
