FARA by Mercury, one of the five models of the Mikita series, is a folding knife with satin-finished Bohler M390 Microclean steel blade, two-hand opening with nail groove, PTFE washer rotation mechanism, slip joint system without blade lock. Stainless steel screws with blue anodized titanium ferrule on the pivot, stainless steel spring. Available in four versions with different handle materials: titanium; black anodized aluminum; stainless steel liner with olive wood scales; and stainless steel liner with Santos wood scales. With this project, MKM - Maniago Knife Makers - and Mikita won the 2018 Knife Collaboration of the Year" award at the Blade Show in Atlanta. This prize joins a further 16 won by these four companies - Fox Knives, LionSteel, Mercury e Viper - over the past nine years.
