Wuesthof Chai Dao, alveolated blade, combines the shape and the functionalities of a Santoku with that of a Chinese chopping knife.

Thanks to the slightly curved shape of the blade, the Chai Dao is suitable for both cutting and chopping, especially for a fluid rock-chop. As this knife is particularly finely ground towards the cutting edge it should not be used for chopping bones. The alveolated blade reduces friction with foods. Blade length 17 cm - Blade width 56 mm - Hardnessgrade 58 HRC - Handle length 114 mm - Resilient synthetic handle, riveted.
