Blades are forged, hardened up to 60 HRC. Sides relief-angle ground, with well market facets.

Blades finely ground and polished. Wedge angle 25°, razor-sharp. Octagonal handles with oval section, made of strong oiled elm wood from Switzerland. Width mm 40. Length 275 mm.
