Product description
Tobisho A Type 200mm Damascus blue paper (basically base is A type super) approx. 240g Tobisho A Type Damascus 200mm professional pruning shears, hand-forged from Aogami steel with damascus finish.
The Hamaguri blade ensures clean, smooth cuts, while the traditional brazing technique joins the blade and handle in a single body, ensuring exceptional strength and durability.
These are hybrid pruning shears, crafted using the rare, hand-brazing technique, which is rarely used in Japan.
The cutting blade uses a 16-layer multilayer steel, including Yasugi Aogami steel, known for its excellent wear resistance.
The innermost layer, corresponding to the blade's cutting edge, is made of particularly thick Aogami.
The surface is treated to highlight the damask pattern.
This product combines practical functionality with aesthetic value.
※ Each piece is hand-finished to highlight the design, so differences may occur between each pair of scissors.
Wear resistance may vary depending on the conditions of use.
This is a model of artisanal scissors that offers not only a flawless cut, but also a strong aesthetic value.
Regarding the damask pattern
- Each piece is hand-finished to highlight the pattern, so individual scissors may vary.
Returns or exchanges cannot be accepted for reasons related to a pattern different from the presentation image on the website.
- A surface treatment has been applied to highlight the pattern on the laminated part.
With use and care, the appearance may change, and friction or polishing may cause the pattern to fade.
However, the laminated part will not disappear, so you can rest assured. (Variations in intensity do not affect the material's properties.)
Variations such as the thinness of the gold line, the presence or absence of black spots, or traces of the grinding wheel may appear in these products due to the hand-finishing process. However, these are not defects but rather evidence of the craftsmanship.
The brass brazing is not for decorative purposes; rather, it serves to firmly connect the handle and blade, and differences in pattern or color do not affect the cutting quality or durability.
Therefore, they are not to be considered defects and do not give the right to return or replacement.
