BOG OAK • Country of origin: Europe • Not an independent variety of wood • Bog oak is fossilised oak trunk which has lain for up to 5,000 years in bogs, swamps and rivers • Black-grey to bluish or brownish in colour, then the handle can be different from that represented in the images • Brushed • Relatively light. Handles made out of bog oak wood may feature inclusions; this is natural condition and is therefore not a reason for refund.
